By now you know my general aviation website, where not only all kinds of gliders, ultralights, single engine and multi engine general aviation aeroplanes are sold, but where you also find a lot of information on the world of flight and flying.
Couple of days ago I added an find your aircraft search engine to the site. You can search there for all possible aviation and flight related subjects, and also find a lot of articles, pics and videos relating to your search. Enjoy it!

How about Buggerovs Blog?
Apart from lots of specialized blogs, it's a good idea in internet marketing to also have one centralized blog, let's say a "master blog". In case you wonder if I have one: yes, of course! It's called Buggerovs Blog and you're welcome to read, comment, and partake in the additional discussion board.

Avro Lancaster: not only bombs, also food!
Although the venerable Avro Lancaster bomber was of course a bomber, she also dropped food for the starving Dutch population during the last days of World War Two. Of course our main Avro Lancaster website pays attention to this remarkable role of the Avro heavy bomber: have a look at Operation Manna to read what it's all about. As a Dutchman I feel rather close to Operation Manna: my own mother was among those whose lives were saved by the food droppings!

Advertising my Avro Lancaster website
Although the good old Lancaster heavy bomber manages quite well to stay within public view, I still need to advertise my sites every now and then. Presently the most promising advertising website to do this, is My Pet Classifieds, which offers a rather ground breaking way of full page advertising with fine search engine optimization. I'm quite interested in how this will develop! Have a look at my Lancaster advertising page to see what such advertising looks like.

Books on the Avro Lancaster bomber

In the decades that have passed since WWII, the number of books about the Lancaster bomber has continuously increased. Some of these are interesting reprints of for example the pilots notes and engineers notes.
Our Avro Lancaster books page has a regularly updated range of Lanc books, including the Pilots Notes on several types or marks, like for instance the Lancaster Mark I with its Merlin XX, 22 or 24 engines, the Lancaster Mark III with the American Packard Merlins 28, and the Lancaster Mark II that was equipped with radial Hercules engines. Not too many Lancs of the latter version were made, but according to their pilots they were a pleasure to fly - and come safe home!

Dam Busters collectables
Almost anybody who hears the words "Avro Lancaster bomber", immediately thinks of Guy Gibson and the Dam Busters. Their famous raid on, among others, the Mohne Dam in nazi Germany has produced an enormous lot of books, videos, photos and other Dam Busters memorabilia. There are items like "Dam Busters FDC Signed Phillips 617 Sqn.", "Dam Busters FDC Signed Richards 617 Sqn.", "Dambusters - The True Story - Video", and many other collectables about the Dam Busters and the Avro Lancaster. The good old Lanc lives on in the hearts of many people, and so do Guy Gibson and his brave crews!

Aircraft general
The Avro Lancaster bomber isn't my only true love when it comes to aeroplanes. I've been into general aviation with the odd Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee, and a long long loooong time ago it all started with gliding. I was very young then, but I still remember the joy of learning how to fly a glider! During the years I've been to many airshows, done a bit of airplane spotting, visited an aviation museum every now and then (the new Aviodrome in Holland is pretty good!), and collected enormous piles of books on aviation in general, and WWII aviation in particular. Flightwise, I'm grounded nowadays - medical reasons. But I enjoy my Microsoft Flight Simulator (FSX), and even put a Lancaster bomber in!

AVRO site optimized for SEO
It seems that by now I've got my Lancaster bomber "niche site" quite decently optimized for search engines. Of course it's always possible to do it better, but at least I'm so far now that every page has its individual meta tags for title, keywords and description. What I need to do now is adding some new content, which shouldn't be too much of a problem: my head is bursting with info on Roy Chadwick's Avro Lancaster WWII bomber, and what I don't know can easily be found. The pile of "Lancaster books" in my den/study is quite considerable, in fact it is the tallest one of all my aircraft books and thingies. Maybe I'll do a "piece" on Guy Gibsons Dam Busters, always an interesting subject for fans of War Birds in general, and WWII bombers in particular!
